Precept Funded Project Renovation 2024: Installation of new electrical supplies and ducting to provide power for lighting and events on The Green

The Parish Council is  delighted to announce that we have agreed  installation of new electrical supplies and ducting to provide power for lighting and events on The Green. 

Many thanks to David Blackburn , volunteer with Croston Village Festivities Group who liaised with John McDougall Electrical Services Ltd. to produce a most detailed and comprehensive design. Not only will the new design be compliant with the latest British Safety Standards but it will also provide greater flexibility of use for The Green. 

The Parish Council spent considerable time, effort and energy trying to get quotes for this job and know that John McDougall , who has been awarded the work, invested at least two weeks into the planning and design of the system for which we are extremely grateful. Once installed , the system will be safety checked annually as is the legal requirement. 

We will keep you posted on when this renovation work will be started.
