Precept Funded Project Renovation 2024: APPROVED War Memorial Resetting , grouting the Stone Flags

The Parish Council is delighted to have approved the renovation of the flagged area around the War Memorial . Work on this memorial will start in August and we are grateful to Alistair Wade Landscapes who will be carrying out this renovation.

We have also approved renovation to the chains around the Memorial that were installed after WW2 . 

The Parish Council believes most passionately that this significant and poignant Grade 11 Listed Monument,  which commemorates the 52 servicemen from Croston who were killed as a result of both World Wars, should be lovingly looked after.
