Croston Parish Council recently had vacancies for two Parish Councillors. In accordance with legislation a Notice of Election was published. as 10 or more residents from Croston had made a formal request to Chorley Council that a formal election be held. The closing date for nominations for the election was Friday 13th September, 4pm.

As there were two vacancies and only two nominations received by Chorley Council, the election is uncontested and the two nominations are elected to Croston Parish Council without needing a contested election.

Croston Parish Council now has its full complement of nine Parish Councillors
