Remembrance Service 1pm War Memorial, Croston, Sunday 10/11/24

Everyone is welcome to our parish Service of Remembrance Sunday 10th November 2024 which commemorates all those lost in conflict.

We gather at St. Michael's and All Angels Church at 1pm, then process to the War Memorial where poppy wreaths are laid before we return to church for the Service of Remembrance. Fifty-two young members of our parish, who lost their lives in World War 1 and 11 are named on our War Memorial. 

There is also a plaque to a US Pilot who was killed when his plane came down in the field  behind a bridge on Meadow Lane . 

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them."
