Due to the overnight snow melting and heavy rainfall, river levels are expected to rise and cause flooding to low lying ground. Flooding is possible overnight on Sunday 5th Jan 2025 into Monday 6th Jan 2025.

Areas most at risk include River Douglas and other watercourses from Parbold to Tarleton, including Rufford, Mawdesley, Croston and Moss Side.
