Precept Funded Project Renovation 2024 Turflands: Winnie Gosney Memorial Bench being restored and a new bin on order

Were you wondering where the bench had disappeared to? Well,  we had it removed as it was in desparate  need of some new legs! This is a memorial bench to former Parish Councillor Winnie Gosney who did a great deal for the village . 

As soon as it has been restored to its former glory,  it will be securely replaced back at its location on Turflands and be joined by a new Chorley Council bin ! Your Parish Council requested a bin and we've heard that this has been approved.
